Physical Therapy
Physical therapy focuses on the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological problems.Physical therapists are graduates of an accredited college program receiving a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. All physical therapists are required to take and pass a Licensing exam administered by the state of Illinois in order to practice in the state of Illinois.
Physical Therapists are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of disorders including neck and back pain, arthritis, balance disorders, joint replacements, post-surgery rehabilitation, burns and wounds, strokes and other neurological disorders, sports injuries and repetitive motion disorders. Treatment is aimed at guiding patients through the rehabilitation process with our many skills and the end goal of independence and return to maximum function.
Physical Therapy is available at all of our Community Rehabilitation locations.
