Neurdevelopmental Treatment (NDT)

NDT is a treatment perspective, which uses diagonal movement patterns, gradation of input and facilitation or inhibition of movement to improve independent performance of a task.

NDT was developed to treat underlying neuromotor deficits related to tone, movement and posture of both a neurological and developmental nature. Techniques include inhibiting abnormal movement patterns and facilitating more normal, functional movement patterns.
